The Bell tower at St. Matthew project is a special project for Sierra View General Contractor in memory of Ken Semmler. Ken was very active in the Granite Bay community and also at St. Matthew Lutheran Church and lost his life on Christmas Eve, 2007.
The 45' tall tower has 4 crosses built into the top and is supported by a steel and metal frame. It has been designed by Imageworks Architecture in the same style to match the new church facility. While still called a "bell tower," the landmark for the church actually contains no bell in keeping with the City of Rocklin ordinance.
The dedication of the new "Ken Semmler Memorial Bell Tower" will be held at the new St. Matthew Church in Rocklin, CA. Sierra View is donating construction and project management fees and is honored to help bring this project to reality for St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
