The Sierra View Table at the KidsFirst Luncheon

(Lincoln, CA- March 27, 2009) Sierra View General Contractor and President, Mark Davis, were honored today with the Joyce Raley Teel Award at the KidsFirst (formerly the Child Abuse Prevention Council Placer), Annual Luncheon at Sun City, Lincoln.

The special Joyce Raley Teel Award is given to exceptional individuals and companies for their dedication to enriching the lives of children, preventing child abuse and for enhancing the greater community and its residents.

“Thank you very much for this award,” simply said by Davis.

Contributions from Sierra View and Davis include: 30 years of community philanthropy benefiting numerous regional organizations (including Kids First, Sutter Medical Foundation, Rotary, Lilliput Children’s Services, PEACE for Families, Sierra Adoption Services, and Placer SPCA), generous corporate and staff generated donations, employee involvement volunteering on boards, committees and in community activism.

Awards are also given to members of the community that have helped promote KidsFirst’s mission that all children are raised in a safe, healthy and nurturing home.

Lincoln City Manager, Steve Art, presented the award, “Sierra View’s passion for making a difference, with honesty and integrity create an integral part of the foundation of it’s vision: ‘To earn respect through our actions and accomplishments- not just for the structures we build- but for the way we do business, the quality of our people and for our genuine commitment to making a positive difference in out community.’”
